The 2006 model year brought no mechanical changes to the ST1300 Pan European. Period road tests praised the broad, smooth V4, strong linked ABS brakes and roomy quick-release saddlebags, while noting jerky low-speed throttle response, no standard cruise control and hot side fairing pockets. US buyers could only get it in black this year.
